V TV Series 2009 Premieres
Posted by angel at 6:12 PM Labels: V TV Series 2009, V TV Series 2009 Premieres 0 commentsV TV Series Version tonight on ABC Prime. 2009 V series is a sign of the first series of the television has Voltaire faltered and still have a chance dance 20 years ago on television and come tomorrow night to dance again. Season Premiere trick starts at 8:00 PT / EST on ABC, and ABC primetime Onda Sylla appears to be a spectacular success, according to Nielsen. Of course hopes to attract gold for advertising or keep young viewers interested in the show, the name of a star can not be compared with other events.
It seems that the new 2009 TV version of V is going to be similar to the first one that first came to television back in 1983. V started out as a mini-series, but performed so well that they had a second mini-series, and then finally a television show based on the story. The story itself was strong enough to support the two movies, but it didn't stand on its own well enough to keep viewers tuning in every week. It got pulled after only 19 episodes, and was a big disappointment for the network back then. Now the hope of ABC is that V can find a new audience, grow some legs when it comes to audience ratings, and that it becomes a strong Tuesday night drama.
Along with the established V audience, fans of Lost, Firefly and The 4400 will have reason to tune in. Elizabeth Mitchell, last seen destroying time and Sawyer's heart on Lost, now gets to be the lead as an FBI agent who discovers the truth behind the Visitors. Morena Baccarin, from the cult favorite Firefly, is the face of V as the Visitors' seemingly benevolent leader. Joel Gretsch from USA's The 4400 is a doubting priest, with Scott Wolf as a TV reporter.
The V TV series 2009 is ABC's second attempt at finding the new Lost this fall. FlashForward was their first attempt, and is still trying to get into a groove. However, FlashForward does have a full season, and will get to reveal in full what happens on April 29, 2010. V, on the other hand, has more early difficulties to overcome.
Originally, V was supposed to premiere in early 2010 with the return of Lost, then in late 2009. It got moved up to November sweeps, but it will only air for four weeks before going on break. After that, it won't return until March, so even if the V TV series gets some momentum going in 2009, it will have to reestablish itself again in 2010. When that happens, there will already be a new mastermind in charge.
